Popular Children's Entertainer Robbo to Perform at CLU

The CLU Early Childhood Center will present two concerts by popular children's performer Robbo on Saturday, Feb. 22, at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. in Preus–Brandt Forum. Proceeds from the concerts will benefit the center.

Robbo, the stage name for Robb Zelonky, is one of the most sought after children's entertainers. A writer and performer of original songs that delight little ones, Robbo has performed at the White House's Easter Egg Hunt and at festivals throughout the United States. Imagination and humor form the essence of Robbo's concerts as children get actively engaged in his silly songs that make learning about life a source of laughter.

Since its founding in 1974, the center has grown into a model school for other early childhood learning centers throughout the country. More than 125 families take advantage of the preschool's services. From the start, community members and CLU supporters have been a part of the center through donations of equipment, bicycles, gardening tools, learning materials and furniture. The Robbo concerts are a part of the Parent Board's fund–raising efforts to raise money for new school equipment.

Tickets for the concerts may be purchased in advance by calling (805) 493–3247. Admission is $5.
