"Inspired by advisor"
I came to CLU as a graduate student in the counseling and guidance program. I had recently graduated from a UC school which was large and I hadn't felt very integrated with the community. I didn't find the same problem here. My academic advisor was one of the first people I met, her name was Lisa Buono. Lisa also taught in the program I was taking and I can say without a doubt or hesitation that she was the most supportive and best teacher and counselor I had ever had in my life. She kept my interest in counseling while igniting my passion for knowledge and desire to become a professor one day. I can only hope that one day I can have the same profound effect on other students.
I wanted to give back to my Lutheran heritage so I started teaching at CLU and this has been a perfect fit for me.
By the end of the semester he was a sufficient young man.
Through my work, I now have the opportunity to give back to the CLU community and treat students, staff, and faculty as I was treated as a graduate student.
Don’t knock a postcard. It’s how I first heard about CLU.
