"Hard decision, good results"

Anonymous

When I first started working for CLU in January 2007, it would be the beginning of being separated from my beloved wife and two kids for six months. For the first three of those months, I lived with my wife's cousin in a bedroom while my wife and kids were back in Cleveland, Ohio trying to sell our house. It was lonely and frustrating starting a new job, living in a new place, with no family there to support me.

In hindsight it has all been worth it. I have made great new friends, I have some of the best work colleagues and my family and I live in a new home which we love. I also never thought I'd have the chance to pursue a master's degree but that has changed as well. I've taken three courses and am well on my way towards earning a degree in the MPPA program.

Working at CLU has transformed my life for the better in so many ways. The people, the location are wonderful- the work is not "wonderful"- but it's challenging- what work should be.

I'm very happy to be here.
