"Memories of CLU"
In 1967, my father took our family to the Rose Bowl. It was the year that Indiana played USC and O.J. Simpson was a senior. USC won. My father had heard about a Lutheran school where the Dallas Cowboys held their training camp. We made the long drive from Pasadena to the campus and found it (such as it was). I remember a picnic under the trees by the library. My second trip to CLU was last winter for my interview.
From that day on, I have felt CLU is a campus that is comfortable and relaxed.
I enjoy the work I do, I love coming to work and I appreciate seeing familiar faces of my colleagues on campus.
My favorite part of being employed here at CLU is seeing the students grow from their freshman to sophomore year and beyond.
Don’t knock a postcard. It’s how I first heard about CLU.
