Final Weekend for Hay Fever

CLU's Mainstage Theatre production of Hay Fever concludes this weekend with performances on Thursday, Nov. 21, Friday, Nov. 22, and Saturday, Nov. 23, at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 24, at 2 p.m. All performances are in the Preus–Brandt Forum.

Hay Fever depicts the story of the unusual and rude reception given to weekend guests by the ultra–Bohemian Bliss family: the mother, a retired actress, the father, a novelist, and their ill–mannered son and daughter. Hay Fever is Coward at his best. Directed by Michael Arndt, the play will feature a cast of CLU drama students.

An English cabaret pre–show will be presented 15 minutes before each performance. Performed by CLU faculty and students, the cabaret will feature tunes by Cole Porter and other 1920s musical greats along with dances from the roaring '20s.

Admission to the play is $8 or free with CLU ID. For more information, call x3415, or tickets may be purchased at the Student Union Building information desk (x3302).
