The New Age of CinemaThe disruptive technology of Digital Cinema has exploded into the marketplace, allowing unparalleled access to the means to create high production value at a fraction of the cost. Students now have access to the same technology that is used on feature films. Yet, as the point of entry is lowering, the crafting of a compelling story is as elusive as ever. This chronicle of the behind-the-scenes production of short movies illustrates the process of creative development, pre-production, production, and post-production. The purpose of the project is to engage, inform, and inspire others. Scenes from "Robox," "Silent," "HATS," and "The Ex" will be shown. |
