Multimedia Digital Cinema Production: "Killer" Work-In-ProgressWith the decline of film the production of movies using digital technology has taken over the entertainment industry. This semester production has centered around the short "Killer." This movie started as the answer to a simple assignment: create a short movie in a single shot. Multimedia student Rachael Blaznek created a compelling narrative of a ski-masked young man threatening the viewer. This simple concept was then expanded and refined through the process of story development. "Killer" is now a suspenseful tale of misdirection and double meanings. Things are what they seem or are they otherwise? Continuing the tradition of high end production "Killer" features the talents of professional actors and was shot with the Red One camera capable of an astonishing 4K digital resolution. This presentation features clips from the movie and a panel discussion with the producers, director and actors if available. |
