Position Title
Resident Advisor (PT/Temporary) - 15 positions available
Upward Bound, Math/Science Upward Bound, Upward Bound-CVP
Salary ($US) and Benefits
$600 per week
Representative Duties
Under the supervision of the Head Resident Advisor, during the SRC the Resident Advisor will:

Supervise, advise and tutor particpants
Tutor students in SRC classes
Contribute and work towards building collective and harmonious working relationships among residential staff and participants/
Assist in the planning, organization, and implementation of social, cultural, and recreational events and activities.
Assure participants comply with program guidelines and maintain their safety.
Ability To
Communicate constructively and effectively with high school aged students
Have sensitivity, respect and understanding of the needs of Upward Bound participants.
Education and Experience
Junior in good academic standing at an accredited post secondary institution. Senior standing preferred. Advisement experience working with low-income, first generation students in a residential setting highly desirable. Current or former TRIO participant is highly desirable.
