Alone is my least lonely place to be,
For with my mind I paint sweet thoughts of you.
On canvases of tailored memory
I craft my vision; blend a rosy hue.
Designs and compositions are my trade.
My solitude is merely hidden skill.
My images and truths are custom-made
To harmonize with life that is surreal.
To paint you in my mind so many times
Leaves only brushes, rotting and decayed.
And making all my memories sublime
Has only let the precious real times fade.
So I will choose to let my talents fall
And take your imperfections above all.
