There are numerous opportunities to become involved through the Multicultural Programs Office. Students are invited to become multicultural volunteers. These volunteers can choose from a variety of programs and cultural events to help organize and/or implement throughout the academic year. To volunteer, simply click here.
International Peer Mentors
Current international students, returning study abroad students, or students who are interested in globalization are invited to apply to become peer mentors for new international students. Our International Peer Mentors help new students during International Orientation, being a resource person throughout the initial time in our country and by answering any questions they might have about life at CLU or in the United States.
Applications for 2014-2015 International Peer Mentors are available now!
Culture & Justice Clubs
There are a number of Culture & Justice Clubs on campus and they are open to all students. Learn more about how you can get involved with one of these organizations!
FOCUS Mentoring Program
New freshmen or transfer multicultural and international students are encouraged to sign up for a mentor. New students are assigned a faculty member or administrator to act as their personal mentor during their first year at CLU. The program provides scheduled activities, but more important are the relationships students form with their mentor. If you will be a new freshman or transfer multicultural student in Fall 2014 and are interested in being assigned a mentor for the 2014-2015 academic year, please apply here.
You will be contacted in the fall with information about your mentor and the location of the FOCUS Introduction Dinner.
