Global Studies
Global Studies has given me an immensely global perspective to my biology passion, and how the health and environmental issues affecting our planet need global solutions. It is a major I would unreservedly recommend to anyone wishing to find a way to explore a different discipline in college or looking for a more well-rounded perspective to any other major.

The best moment in a math project comes when you finally understand why a technique or line of reasoning works after a long struggle with the idea. Encouraging a student to persevere and then giving them a high-five for resolving the difficulty is one of my highlights of working with student researchers.

Spanish
The “El Eco” class has greatly increased my confidence in Spanish speaking and writing. After conducting interviews and writing articles, I really believed in myself and abilities. Plus, having a Spanish article that I wrote is an impressive example I can show feature employers. This class has taught me that Spanish goes way beyond the classroom.
