With my algorithm and software development work, I’m able to bring real-life experience in a very exciting technical field to the classroom. This engages and motivates my students, letting them know that if they work hard, there are fun and lucrative careers waiting them upon graduation.

I work in both post and field production following and helping define episode story lines. When I am field producing I conduct interviews with the cast, produce scenes, and create story documents that are sent to the network. When I am working in post production, I work with editing technologies to prepare the footage for an editor. I make sure the best footage and moments are used in order to create a television series.

I’ve always been drawn to community engagement, empowerment and service, so I study political science because it has fundamental roots in community development. Cal Lutheran’s program takes students into the field and also makes studying abroad very doable.
