Chemistry
The professors have definitely been helpful and encouraging students to pursue graduate schools or careers. If you want to go into a certain profession they will help you do that. They'll tell you what you need. They do everything they can to really help you through the process. They're not just a research mentor but a life mentor, basically. It's a really great bond that you're able to form with the people who've gone through it before. They've done Ph.D. programs. They've done research. It's really good they're there as a support system for you.

Morning Glory is so much more than just a college magazine. It has been a place of refuge and comfort for students, faculty, alumni and family, where people can process their emotions and make meaning and beauty out of both beautiful and painful experiences. It has been personally rewarding to cultivate a community of openness and dialogue on campus through the magazine.

Spanish
I studied abroad in Granada, Spain, where I took all my courses in Spanish and lived with a host family that only spoke Spanish. This experience helped me greatly with my language acquisition and earning the confidence to speak it. Before I studied abroad, I was only minoring in Spanish but when I was planning my classes for Spain, I found out I would only need to take a few more classes to meet the major requirements so I upgraded it from a minor to a double major.
