The Cal Lutheran Experience

Exercise Science

The Exercise Science department has prepared me for my future career by giving me many hands-on experiences with equipment in the field. Cal Lutheran has exceptional labs that allow us to collect a lot of data! I also have had the opportunity to complete directed research, which helped me to better understand and conduct research.

Global Studies

Global Studies has given me an immensely global perspective to my biology passion, and how the health and environmental issues affecting our planet need global solutions. It is a major I would unreservedly recommend to anyone wishing to find a way to explore a different discipline in college or looking for a more well-rounded perspective to any other major.

Alongside students in and out of the classroom I listen to big questions, encourage personal reflection, and help cultivate engagement with the broader community. It helps to wrestle with how your purpose is connected to and plays out in the world we share.
