Alternative Summer Break- Participant Info

There are several ways to break down the trip costs:

  • Trip Costs: this cost will help cover travel, food, lodging, on-site coordination, equipment, etc.
  • Personal/ "Pocket" expenses: This is to help cover those extra costs that are not already covered at the site. This could be optional activities, forgotten items, or anything "extra".

  • Fundraising Letter - not available - A fundraising letter for other trips can be found on their pages if you are interested in seeing a sample.

Please Note: Travel grant and Student Trip Leader applications are now included in the general Student Participant application.

PRE TRIP MEETINGS
(mandatory to attend all)

Pre-trip meeting times & dates will be determined once the application period is over and the student group has formed. These meetings are intended to provide participants with information regarding the trips and to increase team cohesiveness prior to the trip.

NIGHTLY REFLECTIONS
Teams will meet together every evening during the trip to go over the day and prepare for the next day.
