Biggest Loser Participant Applications

CLU's Biggest Loser is a 10-week program starting the week of Feb 10th. Depending on the meeting time you sign-up for, you will be assigned 2-3 student coaches that are eager to work with you and motivate you during the 10-week program. Each week there will be an hour to hour and half meeting that the student coaches will cover various material that relates to building a healthy lifestyle and some strategies to do it. They will not prescribe exercise regiments because they are not certified, but they will talk and teach about different subjects (hydration, how to eat out healthy, etc.). The student coaches will talk through recommendations on how to meet your established goals and be a great support network for you.

On the first and last week there will be a fitness test that includes a 10 minute jog, flexibility test and sit up test. The whole program and its activities are voluntary and are not required. We do recommend that you be available for the weekly meetings with your group. The program is designed mainly to be a support network of staff, faculty and students in living a healthy lifestyle. They may plan activities outside of the meeting but they are not mandatory. There will be prizes for the winners of three categories: most body fat percentage lost (male & female), most weight lost (male & female), and highest participation. Participation is based on a wide variety of CLU programs, events and weekly meeting attendance (all health and fitness related). The awards will be given out on April 25, 2014 at the recognition event.
