CASL Seminar and Faculty Spotlight - 3, Thursday, March 27th, 12:15 – 1:00 SBET Conference Room #127. CASL continues its seminar series and faculty spotlight featuring Dr. Russell Stockard (Communication). Come join us for this CTL session and learn more about this service experience: "Creating a Positive Class Dynamic Student-Generated Service Program in Haiti" with Ryan Glatt (student) and Dr. Russell Stockard (Communication). Lunch will be provided.

CASL Seminar and Faculty Spotlight - 4, Thursday, April 24th, 12:15 – 1:00 in SBET Conference Room #127. CASL continues its seminar series and faculty spotlight featuring Professor David Grannis (Communication). Come join us for this CTL session and hear from one of our 2014 CASL Faculty Mini-grant recipients. Professor Grannis' talk is titled - "Social Services and Service-Learning in Broadcast News Production: A Spotlight on Ventura County Social Services." Lunch will be provided.

Festival of Scholars 2014 - Center for Academic Service-Learning: Service-Learning Across the Disciplines panel on Wednesday, April 30th 10:30-11:35 at the Lundring Events Center.

This session features service-learning projects from various disciplines across campus (History, English, Communications, and Exercise Science). The panel presentation also includes service-learning projects funded through CASL. Funding from the Center supports service-learning courses with the goal of producing high quality experiential learning experiences, promoting civic responsibility, and meeting real community needs. All are welcome to attend! Service-learning courses are also featured in the following Festival of Scholars 2014 sessions:
