Environmental Science
My hope is to help equip our students to be transformative leaders in the global effort to create a more just and sustainable environmental future. My courses seek to elucidate both human impacts on environmental systems and the impacts of environmental change on society.

I take my students on geology field trips—from Wildwood Park and Tarantula Hills near campus, to Vasquez Rocks, the Mojave Desert, Owens Valley and Death Valley. Closer to Los Angeles, my Oceans class heads to the Malibu coast. In the field, students can put into context the rocks, minerals and physical earth processes they are learning about in lecture and lab.

The Sports Management major will help me fulfill a life-long dream of becoming more qualified for the job I would like to pursue as a Sports Agent for professional athletes. Being in the program might also spark some connections with professors and other corporations which could lead to more future opportunities.
