My research was focused on identifying mutations in common canine cancers and examining how they relate to human cancers. An additional focus of mine is on screening these canine cancers to an array of anti-tumor drugs to determine their response and suitability for use in other mammalian models.

I work in both post and field production following and helping define episode story lines. When I am field producing I conduct interviews with the cast, produce scenes, and create story documents that are sent to the network. When I am working in post production, I work with editing technologies to prepare the footage for an editor. I make sure the best footage and moments are used in order to create a television series.

The most important factor in helping students discover their purpose is experience. Without many experiences students aimlessly attempt to make themselves fit without passion.
