Geosciences
Classroom in the Field
Fieldwork is essential to a geologist's education. The coursework in Physical Geology includes hands-on experience in the lab and in the field. The department's trips range far and wide, from overnights in Death Valley to the local hiking hotspot of Wildwood Park.
Global Studies
I chose to double major in Political Science and Global Studies after participating in the CLU Oxford Program. Prior to this, I was much more focused on American government and politics, but developed a more holistic view of governance and interdependency between countries and regions while I was abroad. This piqued my interest in international affairs, so I decided to add a Global Studies major to expose myself to the study of new (to me, at least), complex issues I was becoming more and more passionate about.

Multimedia
Due to the many emphases Multimedia has to offer, I am able to collaborate with classmates who may be studying motion graphics, graphic design, and video game animation. This has also given me the opportunity to create a variety of projects from a comic book cover to cartoon caricatures.
