Coming into college, I didn’t know that I would actually be doing research as an undergraduate student. This has been eye-opening into what research really is like, especially working in a lab and within a team.

I think the biggest inspiration I’ve received from a class here was Computer Graphics with Dr. Reinhart. We utilized Linear Algebra tricks to perform some pretty cool graphical manipulations. The math and programming behind them required time and patience, but it was very worth while.

By understanding the driving forces, I believe that it is much easier to be sympathetic and tolerant toward everyone, even when you don’t agree with them. I love Cal Lutheran’s supportive and encouraging psychology professors who were instrumental in helping me get into a doctoral program.
