I really appreciated the professors' efforts to diversify the reading lists and ensure that many cultures and perspectives were well-represented. As a Latina, I cannot say that I had read Latin-American literature before my classes at Cal Lutheran, where professors made a conscious effort to feature an array of voices.

I really enjoyed the active learning method Dr. Gagliardo used in this class, guiding us through problems instead of lecturing with examples.
