l’ve had the opportunity to do work that most undergraduates aren’t able to do, such as paleontology research and traveling to Colorado and Baltimore to present that research. I love that we have a lot to discover about how some of the most beautiful natural sights on Earth were made and why we should continue preserving them.

The most important factor in helping students discover their purpose is experience. Without many experiences students aimlessly attempt to make themselves fit without passion. Providing students with a wide range of experiences, from social to academic, provides the opportunity for students to determine their passions which in turn leads to students discovering their purpose.

Physics
Physics is the primordial science that tries to understand and model the "why?", "how?" and "when?" of our universe. As a curious person, this everlasting quest for answers drew me to physics. At Cal Lutheran, the physics department gave me the instruction and opportunities to become a great experimentalist through numerous hands-on experiences.
