I never liked the blacksmith's art,

manipulating natural elements
into rich tools

the hand of expectation holds me
against the conservative anvil,
the hammer of assimilation
pounds my red hot mind:
he thinks I'm malleable

I may end up sharp
but I'm still just another weapon
