Greg Angle

Greg Angle joined Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center in 2009 as president and CEO. In more than 25 years of progressive healthcare management experience, Angle has served as CEO of investor-owned and not-for-profit health systems, and in various executive leadership positions at hospitals throughout the Southwest. He is a highly capable leader who has driven improvements in physician relations, employee and community relations, program and service development, and operational excellence.

A fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, Angle holds a Master of Health Services Administration from Arizona State University and an undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of Arizona.

 

Matteo Dinolfo, M.D.

As medical director of UCLA Health, Department of Medicine Community Offices, Dr. Matteo Dinolfo is responsible for the expansion of UCLA Health in Los Angeles and Ventura counties. The northwest campus includes practices in Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks and Porter Ranch, with offices in Calabasas and Santa Clarita scheduled to open in 2014. In the South Bay, UCLA Health includes practices in Torrance and Redondo Beach with plans for continued growth in the Beach Cities in 2014.

Dr. Dinolfo is an associate professor of internal medicine at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine and board certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases. He earned his medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit and completed his internship at USC School of Medicine. He completed fellowships in internal medicine and infectious diseases at the UCLA San Fernando Valley Program at the VA Medical Center.

Steven Sell

Steven Sell is president of Health Net, Inc.’s Western Region Health Plan. Since 2009, he has held profit-and-loss accountability for the company’s $6 billion commercial business, covering 1.3 million members in Arizona, California, Oregon and Washington, as well as for the company’s enterprise-wide marketing function. Since 2008, Sell also has been president of Health Net of California, Health Net’s largest subsidiary, which covers more than 2.2 million members in commercial, Medicare and Medicaid programs across the state

. In 2013, he added the company’s Medicare line of business to his scope of responsibilities. Before leading Health Net of California, Sell served as president, CEO and chairman of Managed Health Network, Inc. (MHN), Health Net’s behavioral health subsidiary, and as MHN’s chief strategy and business development officer. Earlier in his career, he was a consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton. He also spent six years with Prudential Financial Inc.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from Swarthmore College and a master’s degree in business administration from Stanford University.

 

Jim Rondeau

Jim Rondeau anchors Morning Edition on KCLU and hosts the station’s award-winning public affairs program Crosstalk. A native of Seattle, Rondeau has held key positions at stations in the Northwest, San Diego and Los Angeles and produced nationally syndicated programming for Premiere Radio Networks.

Rondeau’s work has been honored by major journalistic organizations such as the Radio and Television News Association and the Associated Press Radio and Television Association. He has been recognized for outstanding coverage of major stories, including wildfires, immigration and same-sex marriage. At this year’s Los Angeles Press Club awards gala, Rondeau was honored as Best Radio Anchor in Southern California.

Under Rondeau’s guidance as director of programming, KCLU’s audience has increased substantially, and the station has emerged as the leader in news and public affairs programming in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties.

Kristin Decas

Kristin Decas serves as the CEO and port director for the commercial Port of Hueneme, a U.S. Port of Entry and one of eleven deep-water seaports vital to the California economy. The port handles over $7 billion in cargo, specializing in niche markets such as automobiles, fresh fruit, fertilizer, project cargos and squid. As CEO, Decas is responsible for the overall management and direction of all port affairs. In this capacity she also serves as general manager for the Ventura County Railway Co.

Before joining the Port of Hueneme, Decas spent five years as CEO and port director for the Port of New Bedford, Mass., which included 21 commercial properties, municipal fish piers and unloading docks, a ferry terminal, and a recreational marina. Earlier, Decas spent six years with the Massachusetts Governor’s Seaport Advisory Council as program manager and deputy director.

Lynda Weinman

Lynda Weinman is cofounder and executive chair of lynda.com, one of the most successful companies in online education today. Through a comprehensive library of instructional videos by industry experts, lynda.com teaches technology, design and business skills to millions of individual, corporate, academic and government subscribers. Weinman is a self-taught computer expert, author, educator and entrepreneur. A web graphics and design veteran and author of dozens of best-selling books, she wrote the first industry book on web design, <designing web graphics>, in 1995.

Before launching lynda.com, she was a faculty member at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, Calif., and worked as an animator and motion graphics director in the special effects film industry. She also taught at UCLA Extension, American Film Institute, and San Francisco State University’s Multimedia Studies Program.

Along with her husband and company cofounder, Bruce Heavin, she developed lynda.com from a free web resource for her students, to the site for her books on web design, to a registration hub for physical classrooms and conferences, to an award-winning online learning company.

 

Cynthia M. Ruiz

Cynthia M. Ruiz serves as deputy executive director of external relations for the Port of Los Angeles. She has a unique ability to find common ground and make things happen, forging relationships among government entities. An example was the streamlining of the Port’s permitting process with another city department.

Prior to joining the Port, Ruiz was president of the City of Los Angeles Board of Public Works, where she collaborated with others to keep projects on time and on budget. She also served on the city’s Emergency Operations Board and was the lead commissioner for the Bureau of Sanitation. Ruiz is widely recognized for her community service and passion for improving the lives of Angelenos. She chaired the City of Los Angeles Environmental Youth Conference from 2007 to 2009, worked to promote the LA fashion industry as a mayoral appointee, and served on the LA-32 Neighborhood Council for three years.

She founded and currently serves as chair of Keep Los Angeles Beautiful. Ruiz earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in counseling at California State University, Los Angeles.

 

Jon Irwin

Jon Irwin serves as president of Rhapsody International, the top executive. He joined Rhapsody America in 2009, serving as chief operating officer and chief of staff before planning and overseeing the company’s spinoff as a standalone company. Under his leadership, Rhapsody more than doubled its subscriber base and expanded to 18 additional geographies, beginning with the acquisition of Napster from Best Buy in 2011

. For his entire career, Irwin has specialized in building strong subscription businesses. He held senior positions with a variety of companies in the telecommunications market, including Boingo Wireless, Earthlink, InfoNet Services Corporation and WorldCom.

Irwin earned an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles, a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s degree in systems engineering, both from the University of California, San Diego.
