What is the Corporate Leaders Breakfast Series?

California Lutheran University established the Corporate Leaders Breakfast Series in 2002 to bring top executives in the business community together. In recent years, the annual series has grown to include five events from September through May featuring engaging speakers and relevant panel discussions with the opportunity to network with business leaders from Ventura, Los Angeles and Santa Barbara counties.

Who attends the Corporate Leaders Breakfast Series?

Top business executives from a variety of industries as well as civic leaders from Ventura, Los Angeles and Santa Barbara counties.

Can I bring a guest to the breakfast?

Yes, however, seating is limited. All attendees require a reservation.

Where does the Corporate Leaders Breakfast Series take place?

In addition to CLU’s Lundring Events Center in Thousand Oaks, the events are held in first class venues such as the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, the Sheraton Agoura Hills Hotel in the San Fernando Valley and Fess Parker's Doubletree Resort in Santa Barbara.

Can I sign up for the entire series?

No. Reservations are made separately for each event. To receive an invitation, send an email to smnelso@callutheran.edu. Please include name, title, company name and address.

How long is each event?

A buffet breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m., with time for networking before the program at 8 a.m. Presentations are approximately 40 minutes followed by a 20-minute question and answer period. Every effort is made to adjourn by 9 a.m.

Will the presentation be available for viewing after the event?

A video of the presentation is often available for viewing on the CLU website several weeks after the event. For inquiries, send an email to smnelso@callutheran.edu.

Can students attend?

Every effort is made to accommodate students who wish to attend a presentation.  However, reservations are required.
