Leah Juergens
Shrouded in petals
I peer from the looking glass
Into the logic realm.
The frivolities of things seen
Present themselves,
Laughing like dancing prisms
Against the wall.
Clarity is radiated:
Paradigms pierced.
Sunlight drenches every crevice
With new-found knowledge.
Finally, I see beyond the so-called differences
Of caterpillars and butterflies,
Swans and ugly-ducklings.
Underneath, they are all the same,
A truth often forgotten.
Look deep past the surface,
To the deception of reflection
In itself a fairyland.
