Pale protector of the hidden storm,
Dew drop petal and hidden thorn
Did the world cease when you were born And wonder?
Seeming soft and gleaming white
Purest in the dark of night,
Human fancies take to flight
before her.
Silent lovers, ever wise
Surely watch the world's demise
taking place under skies. . .
their own turn.
Still she stands so straight and strong,
And to all worlds will she belong,
Singing ever sure her song. . .
