						Darcy Culley

			She sits at the table
Sipping guilt through a straw
Slowly savoring
Her sweet intoxication.
The drink seems good, but is heavy
And she has soon had her fill
But the glass is not empty
And so on she drinks.
The bittersweet flavor
Lingers in her mouth
Mixing with her memories
Of the night before.
